Fraumünster
The Fraumünster is one of the oldest sacred buildings in Zurich. In addition to the impressive Chagall window cycle in the choir and the large organ in the gallery, there are many other historical details to discover: a mural with the founding legend of the Fraumünster or, in the crypt museum, a statue of the Virgin Mary with her nose cut off - an impressive testimony to the iconoclasm after the Reformation. We are open 365 days a year. You can find all the useful details in the links below.

Grossmünster
The Grossmünster was the starting point of the Reformation in the German speaking part of Switzerland. Notice the rhythm of the architectural structure of this Romanesque building, the strong pillars from which the round arches grow as if from a trunk, the wide-span triumphal arch that separates the nave from the choir. Discover the three choir windows by Augusto Giacometti telling the Christmas story, and in contrast and correspondence, the modern stained glass windows by Sigmar Polke. We are open 365 days a year. You will find all the useful details in the links below.
